This is second quilt in the series (also called Noonday Walk), and it explores the use of highly artificial, strongly coloured and embellished rectangular trees in a partially realistic setting with the river bank and the water. It is fascinating to me how the mind's eye still sees the trees and the reflection, not just the lines and rectangles.
