Artists's statement
The outback landscape in drought was my inspiration for this quilt, the bush burned, the lake evaporated and the mud baked, and yet life lies dormant, waiting for the rains that almost instantly brings back green growth, birds, fish and wildlife, all in it own unique lifecycle.
