‘Caught by the light’ is my third Owl Quilt. The first two were of a single owl in flight. But many owls mate for life, and I wanted to show a pair.
The background is almost stylized, so the focus would be on the birds. It was a real challenge to find and assemble the 100+ pieces of fabric that make up each bird
